Third Wave Power made waves at Techventure 2011 by winning the Most Eco-Friendly Start-up award. We are elated!
As winners, we get to be mentored by a panel of successful entrepreneurs and innovators including Eduardo Saverin (Co-founder of Facebook), Jared Lim (Founder and Managing Director of Asiasons Capital Ltd) and Eddie Chau (Founder and CEO of Brandtology).

‘Another winning start-up is Third Wave Power. Founded on 21 March2011 – backed by the Small World Group and the National Research Foundation – Third Wave Power won the ‘Most Eco-friendly Start-up’ award at Techventure 2011.
Co-founder Lim Chuin Kiat said that the company is currently seeking its second round of funding ranging between $100K-2,000K to manufacture and commercialise its solar-powered device.
48-year-old Lim is also the company’s chief technology and operations officer. He said the solar device has ample power to charge two iPhones or an iPad. The device, which can charge gadgets via a USB port, currently has patents pending.’
