Flagship product mPowerpad 2 solar charger launches in the US and will make its show floor debut at the Summer Outdoor Retailer Tradeshow 2014

Singapore, 24 July 2014 – Singapore-based company Third Wave Power Pte Ltd announced today that Frost & Sullivan has awarded the company the 2014 North American Solar Portable Battery Charger New Product Innovation Leadership Award.

This is part of the Excellence in Best Practices Awards presented by Frost & Sullivan each year to recognize companies that demonstrate outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service and strategic product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis and extensive secondary research in order to identify best practices.

In the evaluation for the New Product Innovation Leadership Award, Third Wave Power was commended for Visionary Innovation and Product Excellence, scoring well in benchmark criteria such as Pioneering Best Practices, Reliability and Quality, Product/Service Value, Match to Needs, and Design, among others. Third Wave Power was also deemed best in class for understanding demand, nurturing the brand and differentiating from the competition.

Third Wave Power’s range of mPowerpad 2 solar chargers will also be making its debut on the US tradeshow floor at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market Tradeshow to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, from August 6-9, 2014. The company hopes to expand its presence in the US outdoor market by showcasing its products to one of the largest gathering of outdoor retailers and buyers at its booth there.
